Redeem channel points

Reposting from discord:

I am looking for the ability to spend/redeem channel points via the twitch api using a 3rd party application. I spent a lot of time looking through doc, either I missed it or it doesn't exist.

I would like to ask if this was intentionally left out or is it just not implemented yet. I have what I think is a great idea to utilize channel points, but this would be a requirement. Any staff that could speak to if we can expect this in the future or not?

    That feature intentionally does not exist and if it were to be added in the future, it most certainly would not not be available by the Hackathon deadline.
